As much as I like laser cutters, it never fails that when you cutout the small stitch holes, whatever color thread you start with, it always comes out brown or black. This started tan and turned-out brown… 💀

A friend of mine used to wash the pieces with a saddle soap after laser cutting to get rid of burnt residue. Not sure if that’s a good idea though, as it strips the oils out of leather 😅

@Wandering_Goliath Ain’t that the truth. Every time I try to find a short cut, I end up doing it twice.
The best saying I’ve heard is – “If you don’t have the time to do it right, what makes you think you’ll have the time to do it twice”
