1. Why Verification is Required
As a platform that facilitates financial transactions, we have a responsibility to ensure that all sellers:
- Are real individuals or legitimate businesses,
- Are who they claim to be, and
- Own the rights to the content they are selling.
This protects buyers from fraud, vendors from impersonation, and ensures we can process payments reliably and legally.
2. What We Require
Vendors must verify their identity through at least one of the following methods:
- Social Verification: A connected and verifiable social media account (such as LinkedIn, Instagram, or Facebook) that clearly identifies you as the content creator or business.
- Government-Issued Identification: A valid ID or passport with your name, photo, and date of birth. This may be requested for higher earnings thresholds or in cases involving legal compliance.
- Business Verification: For registered businesses, proof of business ownership (such as an EIN, business license, or corporate profile) may be accepted.
- Alternative Verification Methods: In some cases, we may request a short video, a digital signature, or additional documentation to verify your identity.
3. When Verification Happens
- Verification is required before your first payout can be released.
- You may also be asked to verify if a complaint, dispute, or potential violation arises.
- For vendors with high earnings or large-scale operations, periodic re-verification may be requested.
4. Privacy and Security
All submitted verification materials are handled with care and stored securely. We do not sell or share your personal information. Your privacy is important to us, and verification is solely used to confirm your identity and prevent fraud.
5. Consequences of Non-Verification
Failure to complete the verification process will result in:
- Restricted access to payout features,
- Temporary removal of your listings,
- Or permanent suspension of your seller account in cases of suspected fraud or identity falsification.
