      • Dude, this is awesome. I made one a while ago, I felt like giving up so many times during the buildout. Just had to remember to trust the process lol

        • @Shamus thank you! What made you want to give up? I found it generally straight forward to build, if a bit cumbersome due to size. The two issues I ran into were trouble cutting the rivets (weak hands, so I found some longer handled snippers), and stitching the body onto the base (getting around the sides of the bag, into the bottom and having to reach all the way down in there while propping up the floppy sides with my shoulder was a task!).

          • @wodwo I didn’t have this pattern in particular, but I ran into issues with the gusset at the bottom of the bag. I was trying to pre-perforate the holes, and they just didn’t line up. I was winging it at the time. I knew what had to be done, but I didn’t have a pattern to follow. I briefly made a satchel, and it was the same thing – the gussets were a pain to make.
