Hello all, I am still a bit new to leather crafting. I’ve been doing it for a little over a year now. I took 2 classes at my local maker space and then dived in and made a free fanny pack from creativeawl.com.

I have made quite a few of their patterns and am looking for new inspiration to make my pieces more unique and one of a kind even if it is a pattern im using.

      Love

      • Welcome! I love Creative Awl. I’ve made probably 6 of their patterns. This one is the Victoria bag I made for my wife.

        • Thank you and nice! Yes they have great patterns. Im in love with all the dragons they incorporate into their designs. My fave tho is the druid leaf bag. I make the small version a lot.

          • @Lemonytyme That sounds great! The more things made=skill growth. The dragon stuff is amazing, but loooooots of work. I’m in the middle of the Draco Nightmare bag for my daughters friend.

              • @Shamus Haha, thanks! It is way more stitching than I realised when I committed to doing it 😂. I’m happy for the experience, but goodness…

              • @N1njam0nk3y have you seen the druid leaf bag? I made the caroline backpack and added the leaves from the druid leaf bag to the flap. Ps. The caroline backpack was my biggest project I’ve done. It was very hard and took me 4 months to finish.
