The Deck Trays

The Deck Leather Trays pattern is a printable PDF leather crafting template to create two leather valet trays with a raised bottom. Although it may look like it but there is no wet molding involved, just stitching. The big leather tray will hold pens, glasses, a watch and the small one will be fitting for jewelry, small valuables, coins, business cards or why not even small leather crafting materials such as snaps, rivets and such. The pattern also gives the opportunity to combine two leathers when making the trays for fun color or texture combinations. The leather template is suitable for advanced skill leather crafters. Skill level: Advanced

The Jewelry/Business Cards/Coins Deck Tray
Dimensions: 9.5cm by 6.5cm (~3.5in by 2.6in)

The Pens/Glasses/Watch Deck Tray
Dimensions: 17cm by 6.5cm (~6.7in by 2.6in)

Leather:
> 1.4-1.5mm (3.5-4oz) thick leather, medium to soft temper for the Tray Bed
> 2mm (5oz) thick leather, medium to stiff temper for the Tray Rim.

Pattern specific tools/materials:
> 2mm hole punch

Basic Instructions
> Print pattern at 100% scale and verify size using the Print Accuracy Test. Measure and cut on the outside edge of the lines. Stitching holes in the pattern are spaced at 4mm.
> Please read through the Assembly Instructions file in full before commencing the build.
