I want to add some of my patterns. But I don’t know how to add them in PDF format. I basically drew them on a manila folder and cut them out so they came out symetrical. How do I add them on here? can I scan them? or is there a guide somewhere?

You can use Adobe Illustrator to make them, but you need to have a license to Adobe, and you need to know how to use it. Little King Goods has a video about this here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCSNmQDgWT8
If that’s the route you want to go down. @Shamus uploaded a pattern that has a video on how to use a free software. But there are guides on how to do it online.

Hey! The good news is the notifications work! @PrettyStitch I use a System called Leather Cad. You can start by drawing out the design, scanning it, uploading it to leather cad, then just tracing over it. Here is a video where I did just that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1Hb_7nwHD4
If you want, you can also send me a design, and I can help turn it into an SVG – assuming its easy lol But then you need to add it to a PDF. I use Adobe PDF, but you can use the open source one as well. Open PDF I think?

@Shamus Thank you so much! I’ll check it out and see how it works

@PrettyStitch I second Leathercraft CAD and the video tutorials. They’re in Japanese I believe but there are subtitles and its easily understandable. Really barebones and simple, you can learn to make patterns in less than a day
