  • Stocking Stuffer work in progress

My Fiancée and i are trying to do an exclusivly crafty christmas for our friends and family this year. For my part of the stocking stuffers inwanted to make cable ties and bookmarks. Turns out a Cricut Maker 4 with the knife blade does a really good job of pumping out the shapes i needed way more percisely then i ever could by hand.

    • I love the Cricut for this – I haven’t used it in a while, mainly because of the blade, but I love the detail in cutting. I mostly used it for marquetry, but the Cricut is one of those machines leather works sleep on, IMO.

  • If you've never seen one (apparently they aren't common)..lol

Pics of a finished creative awl womens leather jacket.

The most frustrating part is that the sizing is euro (yes, I was aware before the start) and the 2xl, which is the largest size fits like a men’s “schmedium” as my bestie calls it.

One day I will be less frustrated and size it up to fit regular people 😂

Fun fact. 21 linear feet of sewing just…

  • Very spooky bat earrings.

Made with scraps and left rough for extra spookiness.

    • I thought about doing some of these before with a ton of the scrap pieces I’ve had, but not really sure what to do with them. I gave them to my wife and she just kind of stored them away because they were cute lol

  • Another wallet, the pattern this time is from Make Supply.

Feels like an improvement over my last wallet, but still much to work on perfecting.

  • Pattern Revamp

Make it good, make it better.. constantly improve. This “used to be” the Janis bag style from Tandy, but the pattern itself made zero sense. Modified the fringe, modified the assembly process and made it significantly better.

    • Ooh love the red! I’ve also made the Janis bag, but the only modification I made was shortening the strap. What changes did you make to the fringe and other bits?

  • Croc slides

Never used crocodile or goat before. Had fun learning some stuff and happy with my new slides. The only thing I don’t like about them is my toenails.

    • They look great! I’ve been trying to figure out a way to make something like this. But slippers for the house.

    • Halloween shares! This one’s a 70 percent variant of the coffin backpack because.. I could 🤣
