Finally finished Crafty christmas for this year. Cant post any of this on orher socials till gofts are given.

Also finished some book marks for my friends for christmas. Showed my mom and she commisioned a set for her book club. (The triangles will be swen into corner book marks for more stocking stuffers )

Probably should have charged more then $15 for the lot, but when your mom offers to pay it is hard to charge more then material fees.

@Shamus yeah I am worried how well the blade will hold out long term since even the third party ones are $9 each for the knife blade.

But I woke up thinking about wanting a die cutter and mold to make these only to remember the Cricut can handle them.

My Fiancée and i are trying to do an exclusivly crafty christmas for our friends and family this year. For my part of the stocking stuffers inwanted to make cable ties and bookmarks. Turns out a Cricut Maker 4 with the knife blade does a really good job of pumping out the shapes i needed way more percisely then i ever could by hand.

Gonna post a few collections of what i have made this year over rhe next few days. It has been my first year seriously working on learher and so far it has been super enjoyable and rewarding.

For this post here are 3 wallets i have made. One for my dad for father’s day (pattern by leatherdiystudios on etsy) one for my friend for his birthday…

Used my new Cricut Maker 4 and a tutorial i found online to tool a quick leather patch. Took no time at all and super impressed with how well the cricut tooled 6oz Veg tan.

Material: 6oz Veg tan

@N1njam0nk3y thank you! The purple on the tooling is Angelus Purple. The other purple came dyed from Distance Drums Leather on Etsy.

Work in progress on my kideny pouch for ren faire next year. All pieces cut, punched and dyed (though i need to do a few touchups)

Material: 5-6oz veg tan 4-5oz split buffalo hide.

@TricraftLabs It is surprisingly useful to have when i just need to do some trimming and work on my computer desk or coffee table instead of on my kitchen table with my large mat.

I based it on a few different ones i saw on etsy but the “design” is my own. really all i did was figure out the measurements i wanted, made a rectangle with curved ends and used my cricut to cut that out of cardstock for a template (once i get a knife blade for my cricut I would be able to have it cut the whole thing… Read more

Finished my mom’s birthday present today. I was inspiried by a number of etsy sellers making bag charms to hold photos so took a crack at it myself. Photos include pics of our family including my fur baby Sinosauropteryx so ya’ll get to see her

First time useing an airbrush to apply leather dye (angeleus specifically)

This is a test piece for my next project where I am testing:

• Air brush to apply dye and resist

• more complex tooling (iseing my swivel knife and bevel stamps

• Stitching a rolled edge with Buffalo Suede
