<p>Besides the usual templates, my main 3d printing use with leatherwork is making lasts for boots.</p>
<p>I am currently playing around with ways to make a good test fitter that I can print and send a customer to try on to validate fit of a custom last, before cutting any leather.</p>

<p>I’m making the Draco Nightmare Briefcase from Creative Awl. Sourced my leather from Birdsall in Sydney. The black is a chrome tan, the red is a pull up style and the dragon is kangaroo leather in a dark charcoal all stitched with 1mm Mox black polyester. The buckle strap is veg tan that I dyed red with Feibings and stitched&hellip;</p>

Turns out, this is actually quite fun to make. It&#8217;s not an easy project because of the leather thickness, but it&#8217;s a fun project. </p>
